A really nice hotel with friendly, accommodating staff and attractive reception areas. The rooms are a good size and the breakfast is great. It's about a 10 minutes walk into the heart of the old town and 20 mins to walk to the riverside, but there are bars and shops very close by. It's set in an attractive part of town with interesting, traditional buildings and local sights. Cordoba is a beautiful city full of amazing things to see - the Mesquita is incredibly interesting and historic; the Alkazar has gorgeous gardens; and the various different quarters all have their own stories to tell. It's smaller and quieter than Seville, and possibly a little more relaxed. Everything was easy to reach on foot. We took a couple of hours to relax by the hotel pool which was freezing but still nice to have some down time. There is parking at the hotel, but we thought it was a bit pricey and opted for one of the city parking lots where we got a better deal (once we managed to find it - driving in Cordoba is an adventure!).

Location is a plus it's a fairly easy walk to most places. The hotel is like a tardis, an unassuming frontage, but it's large and open inside. Refreshing. Rooms front onto a swimming pool or patio and every thing is well kept. The rooms are a decent size and comfortable with most amenities required. I had read no tea or coffee tray in previous reviews but these were there, and appreciated. The rooms have been modernised to some extent. The pool looks lovely, not sure if it was open but still a bit chilly for us in February, despite the blue skies, but it was clean and maintained. Breakfast had a fair selection of food and coffee was lovely. We saw lunches/snacks being served but not sure about evening meals. The staff were professional and pleasant, without fail. A thanks to Tomas at reception, very helpful. Parking underground is available, a bit of a squeeze in places but manageable. I spotted some Roman block stones between the 2nd and 3rd floors down.

This is such a beautiful, well-managed property - everything has the look and feel of classic Spanish decor and culture., but with all the modern conveniences. I lived here for 9 days and it was wonderful - the room was large with plenty of space to spread out, the bed very comfortable, good A/C, internet and TV. The bathroom was particularly well done. Breakfasts had plenty of options, including a great selection of vegetables. And everyone I dealt with was very friendly and very helpful. Cordoba itself is a beautiful city with so much to offer and this hotel is close to everything.

Location was excellent. Staff in all departments were very helpful, especially the reception staff. They do charge €21 per night for parking but worth it as you are in the middle of the old town. Only complaint is they could have advised me prior to my stay that the roads would be closed coming into the Old Town after 8pm due to the Easter Procession. I had to after advise from a Policeman and a few hours of driving round had to park the car on the outer limits and walk with my luggage to the hotel and then had to go get the car early morning.

Location was difficult, in some back alleyway, we caught a taxi from train station otherwise would have found it really difficult to find in the dark on an evening. Reception entrance was lovely and spacious. Swimming pool was fab but freezing at 10.30am in the morning when it opened as the water hadnt warmed up (outside non heated pool). Extra pool towels were given at reception. Complimemtary cold drinks in the fridge were appeciated. Room was spacious. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and lovely.
